"It was such a pleasure to find such a hidden gem as the Royal Palms Hotel and this restaurant! The grounds are a tastefully lit tropical garden Oasis with a stellar pool. The chef is obviously a top notch professional as the Goulash soup with quality German bread and totally from scratch Caesars salad with dressing on the side, in-house made croutons & sunflower seeds. We're both plain fabulous! Herbert my Server was gracious, efficient and flawless as well with a great personality. I Highly recommend this restaurant because if you also want U.S. AAA Beef, lamb chops or German fare, they have it all and a very big selection of breakfasts. "This restaurant is tucked away from the Main Street, so it’s quite peaceful and away from the noise. The setting is nice, with the tables and chairs beside a pool area. The service was good and quick. The food was very good quality. We loved the filet mignon steaks with buttered veg and mash potatoes. The steaks were cooked exactly to our liking."

"Regarding the high prices, sadly the food did not meet the expectations we had for this restaurant. Just to be clear, the filet migneon and the pork chop did taste well, but we had a bit higher hopes when we had to wait for almost an hour. We fully understand that it takes time to prepare the dishes properly and when you have a lot of guests, but we were a bit disappointed. Calm and friendly environment, which made us feel welcome. A hot tip for the future: Put up a sign at the front gate that says welcome or similar. When we approached the gate, we didn’t know if we were at a private property or at the correct location."

"Just went there after this place has been highly recommended to us by friends. So expectations were high, and have been fully met. Pool side dining at its best. Lovely atmosphere, botanical scenery, exceptional service. All running smooth and relaxed. The food - a dream, whatever you choose is as authentic as can be. These guys know how to cook (l guess l'm allowed to say that, since l'm a head chef and running a restaurant myself). Highly recommended!"
